Robert the Bruce Coin Necklace | Siller Collection

Handmade Scottish coin necklace in recycled silver, part of the Siller collection. Siller is the Scots word for silver, once used to describe coin and currency. It reflects something of quiet value — shaped by time and held as a small treasure.

Inspired by historic Scottish coins and made using the traditional sand casting technique, this pendant is based on a 14th-century silver penny from the reign of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots. Each piece has unique irregular edges and a textured surface, as if unearthed from the ground, making every necklace one of a kind.

The reverse of the coin reveals a contrasting texture, highlighting the detail and character captured through the casting process. Measuring approximately 1.8 cm wide, the pendant hangs from an 18-inch sterling silver belcher chain.

Each necklace is hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, guaranteeing the purity of the recycled sterling silver.
